This Monday, during the mobilization for the first anniversary of the Popular Victory of President Nicolás Maduro and the birth of Commander Hugo Chávez, Executive Vice President Delcy Rodríguez valued the efforts of the Bolivarian leader for the project of an inclusive country.
“Hugo Rafael Chávez Frías gave his life for us, he gave body and soul to the country project, to the model that included all Venezuelans in order to be truly free and democratic, so today we remember him with love, devotion, loyalty and commitment,” said the vice-president.
“Our president (Nicolás Maduro) is the driver of victories, the man who guarantees peace, dignity... Today marks one year since their resounding victory, a year in which we were besieged by the right. Patriots are here to tell the president that we congratulate him on this year in office,” he added.
Likewise, in the context of the Commander's birth, he assured that the Venezuelan people have many reasons to celebrate the 71st anniversary of the Bolivarian leader. “Chávez a ray of light for the people... The most important thing was an exercise in defense of peace, they (the right wing and its allies) wanted to give a boost to Venezuelan democracy from the north coordinated by the United States (USA), which reminds me of the attack on the electoral system, which with yesterday's elections demonstrated its robustness”.
“We hope that the political class that won elections in some mayoral offices by the opposition will not allow itself to be manipulated by Washington,” he stressed
Regarding the popular youth consultation, the vice-president assured that with the two elections last Sunday, “Venezuela is strengthened by the growth of democratic activity, not only the conscience of the People but their infinite wisdom to preserve peace and preserve the future, to have hope and continue to participate in national union in favor of economic development.”
