The president in charge, Delcy Rodríguez, reiterated before the International Court of Justice (ICJ) the Venezuelan determination to defend its property over Guiana Essequiba.
Through his Telegram channel, he specified “we reaffirm Venezuela's historic position in defense of our Guiana Essequiba and the Geneva Agreement of 1966 as the only valid legal instrument to resolve this territorial dispute through political, peaceful and diplomatic negotiation.”
He also emphasized that Venezuela will never succumb to its historical rights or to the defense of its sovereignty and territorial integrity.
“Guiana Essequiba is part of our inalienable historical morality and we will continue to defend, by all legitimate means, the rights of our nation,” he wrote.
