Delcy Rodríguez: With the economic and commercial union between Barbados and Venezuela, we will advance in strategic areas

The president in charge, Delcy Rodríguez, said that with the “birth of the economic and commercial union between Barbados and Venezuela, we will advance in strategic areas such as food production and export, tourism, maritime connection, energy and academic training.”
Through his Telegram channel, he described as satisfactory and productive the meeting “with the Prime Minister, Mia Mottley, and our binational delegations in Barbados”, in which “issues of importance for both peoples were addressed; through a work agenda based on complementarity and common benefit”.
The delegation of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, which traveled to Barbados to strengthen economic and commercial relations, was composed of the Minister of Communication and Information, Miguel Ángel Pérez Pirela; the Minister of People's Power for the Office of the Presidency and Monitoring of Government Management, Juan Escalona; the Minister of Popular Power for Tourism, Daniela Cabello; the Minister of Popular Power for Hydrocarbons, Paula Henao; Minister of People's Power for Fisheries and Aquaculture, Juan Carlos Loyo; Martha Ortega, Chargé d'Affaires of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela; the Deputy Minister for the Caribbean, Raúl Li Causi, among others.
