The delegation of rescuers from Ecuador arrived at Maiquetía Simón Bolívar International Airport to immediately join emergency operations in the country. With the arrival of these technical personnel, the Andean nation formally joins the list of solidarity with the Venezuelan nation in the face of the contingency generated by earthquakes.

The entry of this foreign contingent forms part of the humanitarian bridge coordinated by the authorities to reinforce rescue tasks as a matter of priority. The arrival at the air terminal facilitates the rapid deployment of specialists to the civil sectors with the greatest structural damage.

The incorporation of experts from Ecuador consolidates the international cooperation scheme activated to deal with the aftermath of the recent earthquake movements. This joint effort makes it possible to unify technical capabilities with national rescue teams and rescue teams from other latitudes that are already actively operating in the field.

With this new technical support, the operational force dedicated to the search for people and the stabilization of affected communities is increased. Authorities are keeping logistical reception protocols active while humanitarian missions from around the world continue to arrive.
