Deputy Commander of the Iranian Army assures that the People and the armed forces are ready for defense

This Wednesday, Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayari, Deputy Coordinator of the Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran, during a tribute ceremony for the martyrs of the 12-day war imposed by Israeli Zionism in June, valued the preparation of the People and the Armed Forces.

“Fortunately, both the preparation of the people and that of the Armed Forces are currently at a high level,” he said, according to Hispantv.

He also valued the recent message of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, to the nation, in which he imparted seven fundamental strategic guidelines to the different sectors of the country, to promote the country's scientific and military development.

The message, Sayari added, shows “the world and the enemies that they are completely wrong if they think they can dominate us.”

Among the most important points of this message, he refers to the Armed Forces, detailing that “preserving the country's internal security, protecting borders and defending territorial integrity and national interests on land, air and sea constitutes their main mission” of these forces.

The rear admiral stressed that “the Armed Forces, precisely following the guidelines of the commander in chief (Ayatollah Khamenei), have advanced step by step on a path of valuable progress”, and he assured that these forces will increase the country's “deterrent power against the enemy”, further increasing their military readiness.
