The deputy to the National Assembly (AN), Gilberto Giménez, recalled this Sunday, July 27, that the projects not elected during this first National Popular Consultation of Youth, will later be financed through the communal and municipal bodies of government.

During an interview on a special program, Venezolana de Televisión, explained that “one is chosen and there are six left, there are six projects that remain there and that somehow will receive the project at the right time.”

“It's good to know, it's good to remember that if your project is not elected, eventually the resources will be obtained from the Mayor's Office to be carried out because in the end, each project is the voice of the People,” he said.

He also highlighted that such projects arise from youth participation in local assemblies, in which they discuss the schemes they want.

On the other hand, he assured that the Venezuelan people should express their pride in the electoral system, and that the action of voting is inherent to compatriot citizens.

Giménez pointed out that Venezuela requires “a serious opposition, a truly patriotic opposition that loves the country” and that actively cooperates with the Bolivarian Revolution.

He argued that faced with sociopolitical problems in a nation, there are two ways of resolution: democratic and peaceful, and violent.

“There is a level of awareness of choosing the person who is going to fill a hole in the street,” he said,

He also pointed out that in the AN, a legal framework was created to protect Popular Power, especially in the face of unilateral coercive measures of the United States, which force the Bolivarian Government to maintain its continuous reinvention.
