Deputy Nicolas Maduro Guerra: Venezuelan democracy moves in calm and peace

This Sunday, after exercising his right to vote, the deputy to the National Assembly (AN) Nicolás Maduro Guerra affirmed that this day is an example of how Venezuelan democracy continues to move calmly and peacefully.

He explained that in the country we have a deep democracy, “not like the Western one that chooses and forgets every four or five years, no, here we are consulting youth projects to finance in each communal circuit,” he said.

He said that each project is better than the other. “These are projects chosen by community councils and that is democracy.”

He added that young Venezuelans are experiencing a global change of collective consciousness, “Venezuela has begun a great change after a crisis induced a few years ago but which opened the windows of opportunities for us.”
