This Monday, the general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, reflected on the importance of prioritizing the interests of the nation over the colors of each organization.
Cabello recalled that during his recent working days, he presented himself in clothing that represented the entire country, sending a message of inclusion to the sectors that have joined the national recovery movement, without giving up their political identities.
“I'm always going to wear my red shirt, but when I have to put on the Venezuelan shirt, I put on the Venezuelan shirt,” he said.
He also explained that the most important thing at this historic moment is that all Venezuelans feel united under the same tricolor, working with detachment to overcome sanctions and move towards a future of shared stability.
The general secretary of the PSUV criticized those who judge the use of national symbols or the openness to other sectors, pointing out that these groups “have no Homeland” and only seek to divide. He stressed that even leaders of other parties have accompanied him on his travels, demonstrating that building solutions for young people returning to the country and for working women is a task that must unite all honest citizens who want to see the nation succeed.
The political leader assured that this vision of a united country is what will make Venezuela invincible in the face of any external attack or media manipulation.
“This country is not for anyone with this youth and this people; the colors of Venezuela are what guide us so that we can all move forward together, and under any circumstance, we will win,” he concluded.
