Diosdado Cabello: Athletes from the 2024 paranationals are big winners

All the athletes who participated in the 2024 Paranational Games are big winners who were victorious in 20 different sports disciplines, said Diosdado Cabello Rondón, the sector's vice-president for Politics, Citizen Security and Peace.

During the closing ceremony of these multidisciplinary games, he stressed that the efforts of these young people with disabilities must be a call to all the people, to all people, to go out and practice any sport and eradicate exclusion of any kind.

“A lot of people are still afraid that their children (with some condition) will play any sport. This is an invitation for no one to stay at home and go out and play sports, because the Venezuelan State guarantees them all the security, all the assistance and all the conditions so that their presence serves to enhance the sport,” he stressed.

In this regard, he highlighted the interest of the Revolutionary Government in guaranteeing equality in the country, so that people with disabilities or special needs “feel included in all environments”.
