Diosdado Cabello calls for a great global movement in the face of US threats against Venezuela

The general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, called this Thursday for a great global solidarity movement in the face of threats of military aggression by the United States (USA) against the country

“If it were another country that was attacked, I guarantee that there would be the voice of Venezuela first and foremost with its people. And there the party has to say present. If you don't like that music, ask for time,” Cabello said during the installation of the plenary session of the V Congress of the PSUV and the IV Congress of the JPSUV.

He warned that imperialist aggression is inevitable. “They are on an escalation, those who have studied any of this can review how they act. Everything follows a script, a script. And right now they have the most powerful war they are using, psychological warfare, the war of psychological attrition,” he said.

He pointed out that the United States is looking for ways to divide revolutionary forces “to look for some fissure to get into (...) and there are weak people or there could be very weak people who commit the cardinal sin of believing what imperialism says by the different means they use.”

In this regard, Cabello urged us to be in “prolonged active resistance on all fronts, in the military, in the political, in our party, economically, culturally, diplomatically, on all fronts, that those who want to attack us know that they are going to meet here in Venezuela with a people who are not willing to give up or negotiate anything, because freedom and independence are not negotiated,” he emphasized.
