The general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, highlighted the career of the singer of the Llanero song, Francisco Montoya, who was known as the Tiger of Payara, who died this Wednesday afternoon.

“Francisco Montoya, from San Juan de Payara, is the most important legend of national folk music, a bastion of the joropo and the passage, people from the countryside who are firm in their convictions with a voice that could reach anywhere,” he exalted during his Con El Mazo Dando program.
