Diosdado Cabello Rondón, sector vice president of Politics, Public Security and Peace, this Saturday, during the Expo Military Technology Fair 2025, highlighted the important work of the General Directorate of Military Counterintelligence (DGCIM) in the midst of the attack against the nation.

“Nobody should forget that we are a blocked, sanctioned and persecuted country that it is very difficult for us to acquire things, to go and buy equipment, yet our men and women who are in the DGCIM have demonstrated that they are a team working to guarantee peace for Venezuelans,” he said.

Likewise, Cabello added that “our people can be sure that this technological human potential works to guarantee peace for everyone. It's a beautiful act and we're going to finish seeing the rest of the technological advances that range from the construction of mortars, communication systems for facial identification, the construction of ammunition, communications, recently secure private social networks, drones...”.

In this context, the Minister of Internal Relations, Justice and Peace also stated that Venezuela must be the spearhead in technological matters, “that is why our colleagues have made a great effort to install, not only drones, but anti-drones, equipment to check, review and detect in time for the war that mutates and is being transformed every day, now we have an economic war that is sometimes more devastating”.

He also highlighted the return of Venezuelans who were kidnapped by the fascist government of El Salvador, the recovery of children imprisoned by the government of the United States (USA) and the delivery of assets that were seized as a result of corruption. “Venezuela is celebrating... Today we can say that Venezuela is a very safe country, rest assured that we will act against those who commit crimes,” he added.
