Diosdado Cabello: Money from drug trafficking is being used to finance conspiracies against the country

The country's criminal gangs have begun to converge with groups of the extreme right to advance the planning of conspiracies against Venezuela, reported the Sectorial Vice President for Politics, Citizen Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón.

“Today there is a convergence between drug trafficking gangs, criminals, terrorists and conspirators. They're all sitting at the same table. Drug trafficking money is being used to pay criminal gangs, to attack with acts of terrorism, to pay for conspiracies against our country,” said Cabello during an act of handing over equipment to the special forces groups of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) and the Bolivarian National Police (FANB).

In this regard, he stressed that the State security forces, following instructions from President Nicolás Maduro, have been deployed, perfectly coordinated, throughout the national territory to combat these criminal groups.

“All criminals who have faced military and police forces have been discharged. The last one of renown was a citizen, scourge of San Juan and El Guarataro (Caracas) who directed the attacks against the Miraflores Palace, by the so-called 'commandos',” he said.
