The general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, highlighted the importance of remaining faithful in the defense of the Bolivarian Revolution and to the supreme leader Commander Hugo Chávez Frías.

In his reflection, addressed to deputies to the National Assembly (AN), governors, state legislators, mayors and councilors elected with the vote of the Chavista People, he emphasized the need to avoid groupalism, arrogance and egomanization in the exercise of public office.

Commander Hugo Chávez is still with us, no one can betray Chávez, no one can go astray (...), many people after the victories, sometimes become pretentious, pedantic: `that I won, 'arrogant,” he said.

During the 537th broadcast of his Con El Mazo Dando program, he urged to promote unity and to add all Venezuelans to the project to guarantee peace, tranquility and progress in the country.

“This is the time to call everyone, those who were Chavistas and left. Those who have never been Chavistas come here,” he invited while warning that U.S. imperialism will not cease its attacks against the country.

“They're going to keep attacking us, we like to speak clearly. No one here will think that the United States will never attack us again. They are going to continue to attack us and it's not true that imperialism is going to leave us alone,” he said.

The Revolution is the people!

In this regard, he reiterated the need for the sacrifice of the leaders and to guarantee efforts aimed at the attention of the People, as embodied by Commander Chávez.

Going through here (spaces of power) and not attending to those who need us doesn't make sense (...). Hugo Chávez gave us the example, so much so that he preferred not to receive medical treatment to be with us,” he recalled.

He insisted on the need to guide management under the premise of obeying the People, stressing that “the true essence of this revolution is the people”.

“There are no free agents here, they have to march to the order of the People and the Bolivarian Revolution. Chávez taught us that and that's why we must fight every day,” he emphasized.

Uribe's defenders are drug traffickers!

The also sectoral vice-president for Politics, Public Security and Peace referred to the recent ruling that was handed down against former Colombian President Álvaro Uribe Vélez, after the bribery of witnesses was demonstrated.

“Everyone who came out to defend him has received money from drug trafficking. Everyone, because whoever comes out to defend a drug trafficker like Álvaro Uribe is because he is Uribe's salaried employee. They write them down on a list,” he said.

After showing that characters such as Leopoldo López, María Corina Machado, Antonio Ledezma, María Elvira Salazar, Andrés Pastrana, Gustavo Azócar and Keiko Fujimori were the first to come to the defense of convict Uribe, he did not hesitate to point out that “they are all payroll”.

He added that, although Uribe Vélez has been convicted of just one crime, despite the criminal record he accumulated over years of direct links with drug trafficking and paramilitarism under the alias Varito, this conviction is a source of joy for the Peoples and especially for Colombians who were direct victims of the massacres, embezzlement and abuse of power by this former right-wing president.

“The Peoples are truly happy because, even if that's all, it's justice. Something is something (...) daring to say that you are guilty is a big step,” he said.

The UN should not exist!

At the global level, he ratified his condemnation of multilateral organizations such as the United Nations (UN) for the complicit silence they maintain about the genocide carried out by Israeli Zionism in the Gaza Strip against the Palestinian people.

“What is the United Nations doing in this world?” , questioned and regretted that this instance is being used as an instrument of imperialism to attack countries such as Venezuela, while massacres such as the one carried out by the Zionist government of Israel are silent.

“All the UN does is meddle in the internal affairs of Venezuela, but against these murderers who exterminate the Palestinian people it does nothing,” reproached and criticized the Secretary General of this organization António Guterres, whom he called an “accomplice”.

“Mr. Guterres should not sleep peacefully because he is an accomplice to the murders that are taking place in Palestine. You are complicit, because you are Secretary General of the UN, not so that you are playing cake for Israel, your voice should be raised in the world”, he decided and lamented that when something happens in another country there the UN says it is worried, hypocritical! ”.

I'm the only one who names her!

Returning to domestic politics, the Minister for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace also drew attention to the silence surrounding the figure of María Corina Machado after her obvious failure in her plans to destabilize the country and overthrow the Bolivarian Government.

After reading a post by the US congressman identified with opposition extremism and the Cuban-Miamera worm, Marcos Rubio, in which there is no mention of Machado, stated that “nobody names” the failed extremist.

“They don't name María Corina... that worries me. Now no one names her, the only one who names her is me,” she said while considering that “I shouldn't name her anymore either.”
