The Secretary General of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, emphasized that the recent recognition and normalization of relations between the Bolivarian Government and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) will not result in the implementation of a neoliberal package in the country.

During the 568 broadcast of his show Con el Mazo Dando, he dismissed the baseless rumors that have emerged surrounding the announcement of the restoration of relations announced recently.

“On the subject of the International Monetary Fund, I want to tell you something: those who criticize do it from the stomach... there is no package here, there is nothing like that, what does exist are 5 billion, which belong to Venezuelans, which must be recovered,” he said, while drawing attention to criticisms made by individuals.

“Some individuals begin to criticize an event without seeing the context,” he said, urging that “if someone has a formula other than that of those brain-thinking individuals to recover the 5 billion, say so, please don't be selfish; a Zelle, a mobile payment”.

“There are people who are experts in knowing what to do, but they never do anything,” he criticized and insisted on calling on the People to trust in the actions carried out by the leadership of the Bolivarian Revolution in the midst of the current circumstances.

“We did what Chávez would have done, who did it. What Maduro would have done, who did it,” he stressed and recalled that “we at the time with President Maduro marched to demand that money that belongs to Venezuelans.”

We are cheerful and you are racists

The also Sectorial Vice President of Politics, Public Security and Peace referred to the episode of racism led by opposition extremism led by María Corina Machado, during a political event in a square in the city of Madrid, Spain.

“These expressions of hate and contempt are typical of those who think they are superior and it's part of fascism, which you can call it whatever you want, racism and supremacy, it's part of this hatred against the very roots of Venezuelans,” he denounced.

Later, he did not hesitate to say that the contempt expressed by Carlos Baute “is the way in which they want to demonstrate the supposed racial supremacy of the oligarchy, who believe that because they studied more they are more than other people.”

He stressed that contrary to this prevailing attitude in opposition extremism and its leadership, the vast majority of Venezuelans stand out for solidarity and respect for all peoples regardless of their skin color, their social class, their religion or country of origin.

Venezuela free of sanctions

Cabello highlighted the recent mobilizations of the People to demand an end to the sanctions that proved to affect all Venezuelans and not individuals as they intended to position themselves from the extremist opposition when they requested them.

“The people understood perfectly well the damage that sanctions have done to Venezuela, to our country, because I must remember that the speech was that the sanctions were personal and we were being sanctioned, saying that our (bank) accounts and assets abroad were frozen,” he said.

In this regard, he highlighted the launch of the pilgrimage to demand an end to the sanctions led by the president in charge Delcy Rodríguez .

“We are on a pilgrimage to demand that the sanctions be lifted, although there is a group that doesn't seem to want them removed (...) The largest percentage of Venezuelans know that these sanctions harm the country. If they do a survey they will realize that... Today 95% of Venezuelans want the lifting of sanctions in the country,” he said.

He also confirmed that the lifting of these coercive measures against the country will make it possible to rebuild the welfare state that the country had achieved during the first decade of 2000.

“I ratify it, if the sanctions are lifted, the workers of this country will be recognized,” he said.

Strengthened and united people

He reiterated that the sectors that insist on hate politics and the application of sanctions ignore the reality of Venezuelans who advocate peace, respect and the overcoming of differences through dialogue.

“They don't know the People of Venezuela, in truth, what they have done is strengthen internally, humanly, spiritually, every obstacle, every situation, we overcome it together and that's what hurts them the most,” he said and accused opposition extremism of seeking to achieve power through violence.

“According to them, that's the way to come to power, not by votes,” he denounced.

What happened in Madrid will have consequences

Finally, the leader of the red awning questioned the propagandists of opposition extremism who have dedicated their spaces to calling the racist show starring Machado and Baute in Madrid “successful” .

“Exceptional? Was that meeting really exceptional? To say that it was a success is to have a bad metric, it was a disaster and now the consequences are coming,” he warned and announced that in the absence of a convincing explanation, “they will put on a show”.

“Another little wonder comes, because after this, there are consequences and those who came up with the great idea that this gentleman (Baute) would say those things, it occurred to him that, on his journey right now, a black woman, and when I say black, I say it with affection, he will embrace her and say: 'María Corina, save Venezuela, '” he revealed.
