The boat loaded with 3,680 kilos of cocaine seized by the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), together with the State Security Agencies, left with the stash from the Puerto López sector from La Guajira in Colombia, said the general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela, Diosdado Cabello Rondón.
During the usual weekly press conference of the red awning, the Minister of Interior, Justice and Peace, explained that four people were arrested in this operation and important information of criminal interest was collected.
He explained that the action began after obtaining intelligence information that led to a deployment that culminated in a chase and the subsequent capture of those involved. “We didn't bomb the ship, we didn't kill anyone, we captured the drugs and those responsible. What a big difference, the drugs are there, we don't act under assumptions,” he said.
“That operation was led by a captain, who chased them down and captured them. He spent more than 20 hours at sea waiting for them to pass, he chased them down and captured them,” she stressed, while highlighting the courage of Venezuelan women.
In the same way, Cabello repudiated that the United States attempts to use the excuse of drug trafficking to militarily attack our country. “Under false premises, they want to invade and bomb Venezuela,” he emphasized.
