The general secretary of the United
Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón , emphasized
that the Venezuelan people did not take a step forward in the defense of the Homeland by attending
the call made by President Nicolás Maduro
for the enlistment of the Bolivarian National Militia in the face of imperialist
threats against sovereignty and self-determination.
“Our people, our colleagues, our women, our young people have taken a step forward to defend the Homeland, from whatever aggression,” he said, describing as historic the day when Venezuelans flooded Bolivar squares, barracks and other emblematic places where the registration points were located.

He appreciated that the Venezuelans who attended the call did so
out of love for their country. “People went to
give up the most valuable thing they have: their skin, and they went to volunteer it,
there were those who can't show their faces and are hiding,” he said.
He recalled that President Maduro called for
a second day of enlistment that will take place this coming Friday, August 29
and Saturday, August 30. For this reason, he called on longliners to stop the fuss over this process in
which the People participate voluntarily.
“We are crazy, but we love this country. Leave us alone and don't give each other a bad life,” he said and noted that the enlistment will have a second phase for the assignment of missions, which will be announced soon by the corresponding authority.

Our hearts are full of the sacred fire
of love for the Fatherland
The
revolutionary leader reaffirmed that the men and women of this country, especially those
of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), have “their
hearts full of the Sacred Fire of freedom, independence,
sovereignty, love for the Fatherland”.
In addition, with regard to the calls of sectors of the extreme right for the soldiers of the FANB to betray the people, he emphasized “that the military does not sell our country. The Patria sellers are on your side (María Corina Machado), they have mud in their hearts, to say the least. ”

“How many
years have they been trying to convince the military and then they come and tell them
that they are drug traffickers, that they are murderers, criminals and you want to join your leadership.
If you are a pirate, keep deceiving,” he said and indicated that
these sectors of the extreme right have not yet understood that in Venezuela
what there is is a revolution of a people.
He reaffirmed that “the Venezuelan military is made, at its core, of dignity and love for the Fatherland.” In addition, he emphasized that the military corps is advancing with the People in a solid organized Popular-Military-Police Fusion suitable for the defense of the country against any threat or aggression.

Shame on organizations that are silent in the face of
the genocide in Gaza
Diosdado Cabello Rondón reiterated his condemnation of
international organizations, such as the United Nations
(UN), which are silent in the face of Israel's genocide in the Gaza Strip.
“ What's happening in Palestine is not a tragedy, it's an atrocious crime; they bomb hospitals and they don't say anything and the United Nations (UN) doesn't intervene and nobody says anything,” he said.

In that
regard, he specified that these bodies should be given “a great shame”; in
addition, he described them as “hypocritical” for keeping silent in the face of the crimes they carry out against the Palestinian people.
“ Every day in Gaza there is a massacre, against women, girls, against anyone who is not a Zionist. They don't care that I'm a doctor, nothing. It is an extermination operation against a people and there is no authority in the world that truly raises its voice,” he said.

Far right is unable to admit that it has nothing
The
also Minister of the People's Power for Internal Relations, Justice and
Peace pointed out that what far-right leaders do is sell smoke to their people
because they are unable to speak clearly to them to tell them that they have nothing.
“They talk straw and then they burn it and sell the smoke (...) They tell their story! They make a story and in the end it's pure straw to deceive their own people, they don't speak clearly to their people that they have nothing here in Venezuela,” he said.
He pointed out that maybe there are naive people who still “buy that smoke that the (Orlando) Avendano, the Emmanuel Rincón sell ; they buy it and then they sell it retail and there are people who buy it cheaper.”

For
this reason, he indicated that all the smoke from longliners is to drive their own people crazy.
“What these people want is to upset you.
Chavism is cured of that, you heard. Cured and vaccinated, and also nerve surgery,” he said.
He pointed out
that this extreme right is so incapable of speaking clearly to its people, “that they don't
tell them that today, if something were to happen here, we are obliged to
defend ourselves against those who are in here, enemies of the Fatherland; they should know.”
In this regard, he reiterated that under any circumstance the People are willing to defend the Homeland. “We have always prepared ourselves, threats are not new, aggressions and threats have always been present, always (...) Because some believe that the thing is 'oh the planes passed! ' And when are they going to put their feet on the ground? When they put their feet on the ground, the children of Guaicaipura will be here,” he said.

They don't want to govern Venezuela, they're just
for the money
The also sectoral vice-president of
Politics, Public Security and Peace assured that the extremist
fascist opposition sector is really not interested in governing the country,
“what they want is money”.
“The opposition sectors don't want to
govern Venezuela; no, no, they just want them to keep giving it money
(money),” he said.
In that sense, he affirmed that governing Venezuela “means giving a face to the people. They couldn't work, those people have never worked in their lives.”

Cabello
recalled the revolutionary Aristobulo Istúriz, who said: “When you are
mayor, you will find the difference between asking for water and having to give water.”
“That's more or less how it is to govern. They (the extremists) don't want, what they want is money. That's why it's a business to attack those who are against it, we don't keep quiet anymore, because we have antibodies,” he stressed.
