The vice-president of the Policy, Public Security and Peace Sector, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, reported that, in a joint operation of police commissions in Falcón state, 273 kilos of cocaine were seized.
He explained that once the information was processed, they were transferred to the Falconian entity, specifically on the coast of Chichiriviche, and with the maneuver of the police helicopter, they forced the criminals to board the boat in which they were carrying the drugs. “They ran away, in the end we captured two,” he said.

The Minister showed a video of the abovementioned seizure of the drug by officials. The joint commission was composed of officials from the Strategic Operations Group (GOES), the Bolivarian National Police Corps (CPNB) and the National Anti-Drug Command of the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB).

In his Con El Mazo Dando program, broadcast number 536, he argued that it is “a variant, a small boat with very powerful engines (...) with little amount of drugs, because normally in a boat they never carry 270 kilos of drugs, they carry more, well”.
“We had been hunting them and the 'police' fell to them,” said Cabello in an ironic tone to the laughter of the audience.
