Diosdado Cabello: Revolutionaries are red!

Diosdado Cabello honored Jorge Rodríguez (father) who was tortured and murdered at the hands of right-wing sectors 49 years ago.

“Today his example can be seen (...). What are we going to give up? What's going! Jorge Rodríguez said that the Revolution was red because revolutionaries are red and that's right, red goes wherever it goes!” , he ruled.

“They tortured him for two days on a clean slate and it wasn't the first time he had been tortured. Their children today: Delcy and Jorge are examples of struggle (...) Carlos Andrés Pérez was president of the country and the Minister of Interior and Justice, Octavio Lepage. They murdered him and Lepage said that he had died suddenly, of a natural death and that they didn't know what had happened,” he said.

He explained that after performing the autopsy on Rodríguez, they determined seven fractured ribs, liver injury, and kidneys. “He was tortured with electricity, a barbarism they committed against Jorge Rodríguez.”

The death of Jorge Rodríguez stopped the rest of the murders they were going to commit in the name of “I don't know what”. Later they said that it had been four DISIP officials who had murdered him and they never convicted anyone guilty.
