Diosdado Cabello Rondón assured that, while the Bolivarian Revolution fulfilled the constitutional mandate to guarantee free and quality education for the population, there are Venezuelan public institutions that seek to perpetuate the model of exclusion from the system of higher education to the people, and to remain elitist and classist.

“The policies of Hugo Chávez and Nicolás Maduro have allowed all young people to have a place in public universities, and you still hear some universities that they call 'autonomous' that refuse to do so, even if by the way, the Government has made them beautiful and beautiful and they refuse to do so because they want the little group they control to enter and not to enter the People,” he said during the Con El Mazo Dando program in his 336 broadcast.

He added that the exclusionary and classist practices of university authorities, in the past, were used to block access to higher education, which caused violent protests during the Fourth Republic, leaving hundreds dead and thousands injured.
