Diosdado Cabello: The church hierarchy has no morals to scold the People

In his Con El Mazo Dando program this Wednesday, October 22, the general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, stated that the church hierarchy has no morals to scold someone from the People.

“They are not men of God, the men and women of God are those who are in the People,” he said.

He related a story in which he attended a meeting with representatives of the country's Catholic Church under the instruction of Commander Hugo Chávez. “I was waiting for Baltazar Porras to arrive, but I didn't get the miracle,” he said.

Cabello narrated that when they gave him the right to speak, “I told them to the point of evil that they were all going to die and that they should ask the people for forgiveness.”

He noted that at that meeting he coincided with a priest who reminded him that in his time as a student he had been expelled from a study center because he had requested it, being the parish priest of the town, because every time Cabello demonstrated with other students “the smoke from the rubbers burned in the parish house got into him”.

“I told him that he was irresponsible because just as he had done with me, he did with another colleague, who after being expelled went to the guerrilla group and being part of it they killed her. They have no morals,” he said.
