During the #572 broadcast of his Con El Mazo Dando television program, the general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, assured that the pilgrimage is burning with opposition.
D highlighted the internal cohesion of the revolutionary forces in the face of the constant aggressions of the opposition sectors. “Under the worst circumstances, we have remained united and we have to continue the pilgrimage and we are going with the productive sectors”
“This stupid sector of the opposition is bad as human beings, they have no consideration for others, first they and no one else, they see us as inferior beings, as if we didn't exist, because the country is only theirs,” he said.
In this sense, he opposed this colonialist vision with the historical resistance of native peoples, criticizing those who still celebrate the concept of “discovery” in the face of communities that already existed that have their own culture and wisdom.
He also announced the deployment of an intense popular work agenda and celebrated the signs of economic recovery he noticed during his recent visit to the state of Zulia.
“We are committed to visiting at least four towns for each state of the country, hopefully there can be more than four towns. Meetings with productive sectors to energize local economies and popular assemblies,” he said.
The socialist leader compared the current scenario with that of a year ago, highlighting a notable opening of businesses and the hotel sector thanks to the impetus of local entrepreneurs.
In this regard, he emphasized the strategic importance of the state of Zulia, not only in the energy field but also in agriculture. “Oil companies are moving, but Zulia is not just oil; livestock farming also stands out, being one of the largest producers of cattle and milk in the country,” he said.
