Diosdado Cabello Rondón stressed, during his Con El Mazo Dando program, that the sanctions affected Venezuelans and divided families who saw their children emigrate with the promise of achieving a better future.
“We were affected by sanctions even in a small way, the sanctions and the blockade, of course they affect us, they hurt the people, the country, they divided families, because in many families here in Venezuela their children left, boys of 18 and 19 years old,” he recalled.
He stressed that currently many of the Venezuelans who were forced to migrate as a result of these coercive measures against the country “are now returning and we are receiving them with open arms as they should be.”
