The Secretary General of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, during his Con El Mazo Dando program, assured that imperialism always disguises itself as lies to justify its attacks on the Peoples and in this strategy they have created all kinds of “Fake News” or falsehoods to try to discredit the Bolivarian Revolution and its leaders.

“The United States (USA) lives behind lies, of what they now call Fake News, but that used to be called coba; people fall to the coba with their communication and social media devices, capable of destroying the image of anyone, that is valid both for a person and for a country,” he denounced.

He recalled that all kinds of lies and insults were told about Supreme Commander Hugo Chávez himself after the rebellion of February 4, 1992, and subject to accusations of any kind by the media scoundrel and the various imperialist governments of the United States,
