During his Con El Mazo Dando program, the general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, emphasized that the experience of Venezuelans is their faith and their firmness in their beliefs.
This is what he said when referring to a recent visit he made to the cathedral of Guanare in the Portuguese state, where he spoke “with some companions from the Catholic Church, the Evangelical Church and other cults, and then I went to the one in Mérida, the Immaculate Cathedral is a work to sit and see it, they are restoring it”.
“Many priests from Pueblo came to us to ask for support for their churches and communities and we will support everyone we can support, because that is part of the Venezuelan experience, which is their faith and their firmness in their beliefs,” he emphasized.
In this regard, during broadcast number 569, he stated that “that's where President Maduro went and he committed himself to restoration and that's going to be extraordinary.”
He specified that “specialists, architects, engineers, students and people who are experts in restoration are participating in the Merida work, because restoring is not painting”.
