Diosdado Cabello to the PSUV and GPP: We have to make the decision and move to a higher phase for homeland defense

The general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, urged the militants of this political tent and the Great Patriotic Pole to make the decision to move to a “higher phase” to guarantee the defense of our Homeland.

During the Plenary of the PSUV Congress, Cabello drew attention to the need to become an Armed Revolution in the face of imperialism's intentions to attack our country, using as an excuse the gross lie of the fight against drug trafficking.

“They are not fighting against a group that trafficks drugs, what they want is to put an end to the Revolution. For this reason, we as a party have to make a decisive decision, because until now this has been a peaceful but armed revolution,” he said while stressing that the main drug cartel is the DEA.

In this regard, Cabello stressed that imperialism is determined to attack us, so we Venezuelans have to prepare ourselves to face any conflict situation. “Nobody disputes the enormous military power of the United States and the barbarians who govern it. But since no one disputes that, no one can take away our right to fight. Nothing and no one will take that right away from us, because this is a genuinely just fight, because we would be fighting for our independence, sovereignty and against the handsome neighborhood (USA),” he stressed.

In the same way, he assured that Venezuela has great dignity with which, using unconventional methods, it would obtain a victory in the face of any aggression.

“While in other places they can get used to being subjugated, in Venezuela we are not used to it. As long as in other places they may cherish the idea that as a colony they would be better off, we don't accept that. We are convinced that as a free people we will do better and we would have our freedom,” he stressed.
