During the broadcast of the Con El Mazo Dando program, the general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, stressed that after the municipal elections last Sunday, July 27, a new opposition seems to emerge in the country.
“Today it seems that a new opposition is emerging in Venezuela, it seems... We're going to see how far the gringos let them rise because you know what they're like, and there are people who can't stand pressure,” said Cabello.
He also stressed that with regard to pressure from the United States (USA) on some leaders, he said that when threatened “we are going to take the apartment you have in Miami and companies and people get scared, because when we tell us 'we are going to sanction them and we are going to freeze their accounts' we say: what a ridiculous account what assets? Pure propaganda! From them to attack the unjustifiable.”
“Threat that intimidates us, there is no sentence that obliges us to do anything here, the only thing mandatory here is the will of a people and the people voted for 285 mayors to be well governed by the Revolution, but in addition that same people voted for youth projects,” stressed the general secretary of the PSUV.
