Diosdado Cabello: We have resisted in battle!

The first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, assured that the Venezuelan people have experienced great adversity in recent years and “we have resisted in battle.”
“The forerunner and founding generation have a different base than the rest of the generations, because when we talk about them we talk about being persecuted and arrested (...) This message goes to young people who don't think things are easy,” he said.
He recalled that 32 years ago they rose up together with Chávez against an inhumane government. “Commander Chávez opened the doors to youth and opportunities and today we have a strong people who know how to resist.”
He noted that “every time I have the opportunity I tell the youngest so that they know the importance of staying united and in battle”.
