The first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, confirmed that on January 10, 2025, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, will be sworn in before the National Assembly (AN) to serve the presidential term 2025-2031 as appropriate in accordance with the Bolivarian Constitution.

“On January 10, Nicolás Maduro will be sworn in as President and with Nicolás the People, the Armed Forces, women, young people, police forces will be sworn in,” he emphasized.

During his Con El Mazo Dando program in its 507 broadcast, he dismissed the threats used by opposition extremism in, what he argued are, failed attempts to destabilize the country and sow anxiety in the population.

“The deceivers are unleashed, I come from the future, and this is what is going to happen, on January 10: The happy Chavista people are going to stop,” he said, while recalling that days before, on January 5, the AN will be installed.

“The only thing that is going to happen here is that on the 5th the only legitimate National Assembly is installed and Nicolás will be sworn in before that Assembly on the 10th,” he stressed.

He regretted that there are minority sectors of the Venezuelan population identified with the opposition that continue to believe in the promises of opposition extremism.

“Is January 10, 2025 coming and what explanation is the right going to give to its people? Because you know that every day an idiot comes out on the street and whoever grabs it is his; so, if you're an opponent and you keep believing those people; well, you're the culprit,” he said.

Regarding the campaign surrounding the return to the country, the defeated former candidate Edmundo González, disdained this possibility, but warned that if you try, “I will be on the reception committee to give you a gift in your hands (wives)”.

“Old Gozón lives drunk tomorrow, afternoon and night in Spain (...) and he doesn't move out of Spain even with a crane,” he said.

More power for the People!

Cabello also referred to the upcoming elections of Justices of the Peace on December 15 and highlighted the importance of this process in building the participatory and leading democracy mandated by the Constitution.

“This is our authentic participatory and leading democracy,” he said, while denouncing the threats they have launched against candidates for justices of the peace in the country.

In this regard, the vice-president of Politics, Public Security and Peace, announced that they are on the trail of these people.

“We have seen and are looking for them, people who go out there threatening those who applied,” he said.

Town down the street in Peace and Joy!

He stressed that in addition to the mobilization that this electoral process that strengthens Popular Power and the Christmas festivities will bring, by the month of January the Chavista People will be on the streets.

“On the 10th the President is sworn in, before the 15th (January) he has to give his annual message to the country from the Assembly, it's a series of events, we're going to paste that with January 23 to make it burn for the scumbags, then Zamora on February 1st, on February 2nd we celebrated the first swearing in of Commander Chávez, on February 3rd it's Sucre and on February 4th, well, if you neglect it we'll get there until April 11th,” he laughed.
