This Sunday, May 19, the second round of the 2024 Major League Professional Baseball (LMBP) season took place, with the winners of the Dolphins of La Guaira, District Chiefs, Senators of Caracas and Centaurs of La Guaira

At the José Bernardo Pérez Stadium in Valencia, District Chiefs beat Marineros de Carabobo 17-7.

The capital's team relied on the wood of Hendrik Clementina, who hit two home runs in the same inning and drove in eight runs.

For his part, Seuly Matías commanded an offensive by Senators from Caracas with 16 unstoppable ones, so that his team would come back and beat Líders de Miranda 10-9, in the UCV stadium.

Meanwhile, Centauros de La Guaira took the victory as a visitor, against Samanes de Aragua 9-6, at José Pérez Colmenares de Maracay.

In this duel, José “Cafecito” Martínez for the second consecutive day was key with the wood.

The day was closed by Delfines de La Guaira with a 9-6 victory over Guerreros de Lara, at the Jorge Luis García Carneiro stadium in Macuto.

With this result, there is a triple tie for first place Senators, Centaurs and Delfines, followed by a game by Caciques and Sananes. Meanwhile, the Leaders, Sailors and Warriors who have failed to find victory close the table.
