Under the slogan “Venezuela is not a threat, it is a hope”, the Social Movements in Dominica joined the day of solidarity with our country in rejection of the aggressions of the United States (USA) government, which takes place this Saturday in more than a hundred cities around the world.

With posters and slogans, representatives of social organizations in Dominica took to the streets to reject interventionist pretensions on the part of the United States, and they express their support for Venezuela's right to defend its sovereignty.

These global mobilizations of support seek to reaffirm the peaceful nature of the Bolivarian Revolution and to reject any attempt at foreign intervention.

The Bolivarian government has denounced that the United States is intensifying its threats against the country through the deployment of submarines and nuclear ships in the Caribbean, an action that, as it pointed out, contravenes the Treaty of Tlatelolco, in force in Latin America and the Caribbean since 1967, which prohibits the use and possession of nuclear weapons in the region.
