At the Dr. Domingo Luciani Hospital, located in El Llanito, Miranda state, more than 100 highly complex surgeries have been performed on those affected by the earthquake registered in the country, as reported by Dr. Ángel Ramírez, in direct contact with Venezolana de Televisión (VTV).

Ramírez stressed that the success of this medical day has been possible thanks to the provision of supplies and the deployment of a qualified contingent of medical professionals. “Since day one, we have received more than 250 patients. We have intervened on more than 100 of them in emergency surgeries, and we are currently making definitive adjustments to be able to grant medical discharges,” he said.

He also expressed his deep recognition of the collective conscience and spirit of solidarity of the Venezuelan people, who have dedicated themselves massively to donating medicines, medical equipment and food to support the contingency in the hospital complex.

“The National Public Health System is strengthened, providing a quick and timely response, but in addition to that, thanks to the support of the Venezuelan population, we have achieved this beautiful result,” he said and reiterated that the Dr. Domingo Luciani Hospital remains operational 24 hours a day, with the necessary capacity and infrastructure to provide free care to any citizen who requires it.
