Educational exhibition “Art, Forms and Traces” opened at the Arturo Michelena Museum

The educational exhibition “Art, Forms and
Traces” opened this weekend in the Lastenia Tello Room, of the Arturo Michelena
Museum (MAM) in Caracas.
The National Museums Foundation (FMN) and the museum's
Department of Education organized this exhibition as a result
of a successful day of community workshops that provided residents
of surrounding areas to unleash their artistic creativity, Venezuelan Television review.
This educational-community exhibition
brings together 33 works prepared by 17 participants. Over the course of several
pedagogical sessions, the workshops were able to execute these pieces, which are now on
display at the Arturo Michelena House Museum.
“Art, Shapes and Strokes” materialized with
the pieces created in the “Permanent Drawing and Painting Workshop”, an initiative
that has been held every weekend in the room named and dedicated to
Lastenia Tello de Michelena, wife of the renowned Venezuelan artist Arturo Michelena.

Research Department, Susana Rada, explained that the participants in the
permanent workshop used a variety of techniques, including pencil, crayon,
acrylic paint, colored markers and oil painting, all under the guidance and guidance of Professor Serge Planas.
In addition, he expressed his satisfaction with these permanent sessions, in which the participants achieved personal growth while creating these unique pieces, by exploring various artistic techniques and movements.
