Electoral schedule for 28-J shows an increase of 74%

The schedule of activities created by the National Electoral Council (CNE), for the presidential election of July 28, shows an increase of 74%, reported the rector of the CNE, Carlos Quintero.

During a press conference held this Monday, Quintero explained that the electoral simulation held this Sunday had 58% coverage of all parishes in the country.

“In the simulation we had 400 more centers and a thousand more polling stations than for the simulation prior to the consultative referendum on the Essequibo. This has been a fundamental point to motivate three fundamental objectives such as participation; the operation and scrutiny, of the process of transmitting and receiving data and the processes of totalization,” he stressed, while describing the popular participation in this event as overwhelming.

He also indicated that this Sunday the logistical and technological aspects were also certified.

For his part, the president of the CNE, Elvis Amoroso, said that the voting time was estimated at 38 seconds per voter.

At the same time, he congratulated all the Venezuelan people who participated in the drill for their citizenship.
