Electrical substations in Barlovento received comprehensive maintenance by CORPOELEC

With the objective of guaranteeing the stability of the electricity service and benefiting more than 29,000 residents of Barloventeans, the National Electricity Corporation (CORPOELEC) applied corrective and preventive work to electrical substations in the state of Miranda.

In this regard, the operators changed components such as switches, reconnectors and protection settings, with the objective of optimizing the proper functioning of the El Guapo, El Sarao and Carenero substations.

This maintenance, according to a press release, ensures the electrical distribution process to communities in the Rio Chico, Cúpira and Higuerote parishes, located in the municipalities of Páez, Pedro Gual and Brión.
