Everyone to vote! National Popular Consultation: Full Exercise of Participatory and Protagonist Democracy

The objective of the National Popular Consultation of this April 21 is that the people organized in a communal council throughout the national territory will have the opportunity to choose a project in a range of seven projects for each electoral circuit.

In other words, more than 27 thousand proposed projects have to be approved and 4 thousand 500 projects will be financed by the National Executive for communities to carry out their execution.

One of the important things about the Popular Consultation is that the projects will be developed in the territorial area where communities live.

It is worth noting that the projects discussed in more than 4,500 assemblies have to do with health, sports, culture, transport, among others, in order to solve each particular case in the different sectors of the country.

Voters will go to the most central electoral center, in total 13,948 have been authorized for this consultation, which is a full exercise of participatory democracy as established by the Constitution.

It should be clarified that this electoral process has no political overtones but that the only requirements are to be over 15 years of age and have a laminated ballot.
