The former president of Bolivia, Evo Morales Ayma, urged the countries of the world to define and consolidate themselves as “anti-imperialist”.

Since the meeting for a World Social Alternative, he said that the United States seeks to divide us and asks how to dominate us, and how to steal our natural resources. In that vein, he asked Latin countries to “A lot of unity!”

He specified that “200 years ago, the United States began with policies such as America for Americans and the Monroe Doctrine, with which they sought that there would be no governments in Latin America and the Caribbean with a humanist tendency, but now we have two consolidated countries, Cuba and Venezuela, anti-imperialist governments and many socialist governments with a humanist tendency. That is a defeat for the empire that is in decline.”
