Executive and Legislative Branches coordinate agenda in science and health

Sectorial vice-president Isabel Iturria held a working meeting with Deputy Jehyson Guzmán, president of the Standing Committee on Education, Health, Science, Technology and Innovation of the National Assembly, in order to advance joint actions aimed at guaranteeing the fundamental rights of the population.
During the meeting, held at the headquarters of the Dr. Gilberto Rodríguez Ochoa Children's Cardiological Hospital in Caracas under the guidelines of the president in charge Delcy Rodríguez, Iturria stated that institutional coordination supports the national mobilization against the blockade and strengthens the defense of life, noting that “we are not a threat, we are hope”, referring to the day of the Great Pilgrimage.
The sector vice-president stressed that coordination between the Sectorial Vice Presidency and the National Assembly Commission allows her to consolidate a work path that integrates legislative and operational areas to ensure compliance with the rights of the people.
For his part, Deputy Jehyson Guzmán indicated that the meeting made it possible to define common guidelines in regulatory matters and to make progress in strengthening social plans promoted by the State.
Guzmán stressed that institutional support for the Great Pilgrimage for a Homeland free of sanctions is part of the joint strategy between the Legislative Branch and the Executive to reinforce national sovereignty through coordinated actions.
