Executive Vice President: 416 MERCAL and PDVAL stores are scheduled to open

During the inauguration of the Expoforo Empresarial Venezuela Productiva 2030, in Caracas, Executive Vice President Delcy Rodríguez announced that the food sector is expected to open 416 MERCAL and PDVAL stores.

Rodríguez asserted that the inauguration of the stores is a demonstration of the great effort made by the National Government to achieve development in all sectors to achieve the social happiness of the Venezuelan people.

He emphasized that every day he receives reports of new openings of stores, supermarkets, and private self-markets, nationwide. “There is permanent growth, people are consuming more food, there is an economy based on love for Venezuela,” he said.

“In Venezuela we have a lot of wealth to develop that we expand and that this national effort can be translated into happiness for Venezuelans and Venezuelan women, into social happiness, healing social security from the economic blockade, that's the way,” he added.

He also thanked all companies, both public and private, as well as entrepreneurs for participating in the Expoforo Empresarial Venezuela Productiva 2030.
