After exercising her right to vote in the
municipal elections and the Popular Youth Consultation, this Sunday, the Executive
Vice President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy
Rodríguez, praised the continued economic recovery that the
country has experienced, despite the blockade and imperial aggressions.
“We are in a process of economic recovery. In 2018,
President Nicolás Maduro, in the midst of the worst economic and
social difficulties caused by the criminal blockade against Venezuela, presented the country with a
project of hope, a program of economic recovery, growth and
prosperity and starting in 2020 we began to see the fruits with the
sacrifice of Venezuelans and Venezuelan women, and that process has led us to
have 17 consecutive quarters of growth,” he said.
In this regard, Rodríguez confirmed that “the
Venezuelan economy continues to grow and will continue to grow, thanks to what? Because there is
national unity around Venezuela's capacities, thanks to the fact that Venezuela, with its own
efforts, is recovering its main industries,” he emphasized.
He stressed that the hydrocarbon industry is
growing steadily. “Oil, gas, petrochemicals, mining,
commerce, banking, telecommunications are sectors that continue to accompany economic
growth,” he said.
“Gradually, with the efforts of the workers
of Venezuela, this recovery process takes place.
National unity, based on essential pillars that lead us to show these
signs today, which are above countries that are not subject to the
economic torture posed by the criminal and illegitimate blockade against Venezuela,” said the Vice President.
