Exhibition “Echoes of the Cross” opened in the spaces of the Balcón de los Arcaya in Falcón

As part of Holy Week, the Department of Culture of the Francisco de Miranda National Experimental University (UNEFM) inaugurated the exhibition “Ecos de la Cruz, Trails of Faith” in the emblematic Balcón de los Arcaya, in Falcón state.
This was
announced by the Institute of Culture of the State of Falcón (INCUDEF) through its Instagram
account, in which it indicated that the inauguration was accompanied by Marianella Oliveros, coordinator
of INCUDEF, who participated in this spiritual and artistic journey that invites contemplation.
The exhibition
presents the pictorial series by the artist Mirian Mejías, composed of 15
stations of the Way of the Cross, which dialogue with historical pieces from the
Alberto Henríquez Collection, including a crucifix and a reclining from the 18th century.
This initiative, the
result of institutional coordination, seeks to offer a sacred space for
the encounter with faith and cultural heritage, promoting reflection
during Major Week.
