Expanded Immunization Program applied more than 2,000 doses of vaccines in Aragua

The National Public Health System (SPNS), through the Expanded Immunization Program (PAI), applied 2,116 doses of preventive vaccines during an immunization day carried out in the 43 Comprehensive Community Health Areas (ASIC), in the state of Aragua.
As reported by the Venezuelan News Agency (AVN), citing the Ministry of Health, a total of 126 brigades were deployed in the region, with which 81 communities were covered.
The Single Health Authority, Yosmary Lombano, specified that during the deployment the doses were applied, in order to guarantee the well-being and protection of the population against immunopreventable diseases.
For her part, the regional coordinator of the PAI, Lcda. Maydelis Ascanio, explained that during the day, doses of pentavalent, oral polio, IPV, Antiamaryllic, SRP and toxoid were administered to protect the entire Aragüeña family.
