“You can be a political opponent, you can oppose the
Government, but what you cannot oppose is your own country, attacking your own country, wishing the worst for your
own country every day, because here there are children, there are women,” emphasized the sectoral vice-president of Politics, Citizen Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello.
From the town of La Sierra in Falcón state, the Minister for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace also highlighted the reception given to the initiative of the National Pilgrimage for a Venezuela without sanctions and in peace in all corners of the country, especially in Falconian lands.
In this regard, he highlighted the dedication and sacrifice of the women of this entity who have been the vanguard in the fight against the effects of the sanctions and the blockade that was carried out against the country.
“In the 46 communes here, women are the spokespersons, and women are the ones who, as the colleague says, stand up at dawn, and go to work the same way, and they have to take care of the children, and then they have to go back to work, and they are still standing, and in the end they are in charge of the bags, and they attend to the problems of the community and always, always, they are willing to go ahead”, he exalted.
He congratulated the Falconian people for their capacity and commitment to the country's development and called on them to continue working to consolidate peace and growth in Venezuela.
