A group of students and teachers from the E.T.I Madre Mazzarello, from Falcón state, participated in the Electronic Training Workshop, as part of the National Scientific Semilleros Program, which seeks to involve young students in the path of knowledge.
During the day, fundamental concepts of electronics were addressed, said the executive director of Fundacite Falcón, Liliana Infante.
“During the session, what electricity is was explained in detail and the basic components that make it up were presented. The participants had the opportunity to learn to measure voltage and other parameters essential to understand electrical circuits, and the difference between series and parallel circuits was explained to them, in addition to their characteristics,” he said.
Infante, according to a press release from the Ministry of Science and Technology (MINCYT), added that practices were carried out in which the attendees built basic circuits.
“This practical experience allowed them to apply the knowledge acquired in the theoretical part, thus facilitating a deeper understanding of the principles of Electronics. The participants not only observed the interaction between the different components, but they also experienced first-hand how they work together,” he said.
The meeting discussed topics such as: What is Electronics? What is an Atom? , Areas of Electronics, Areas of Application of Electronics, Basic Concepts such as Voltage, Current and Resistance, Types of Current (Alternating and Direct), Series and Parallel Circuits, Basic Components, Multimeter Management and Electrical Circuits.
