FANB and State Security Forces seized more than 3 tons of marijuana in Falcón

Members of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), in a joint operation with the different State security forces, managed to seize 3,777 kilos of marijuana, reported the Strategic Operational Commander (CEO) of the FANB, G/J Domingo Hernández Lárez.
Through a message posted on his Instagram account, the senior military officer explained that the drugs, distributed in 114 bags, were detected by uniformed personnel while carrying out land, sea and air patrols and searches around the East Coast in the Pico de Zamuro sector, 88 miles from the Silva municipality of Falcón state.
In this procedure, 8 citizens were arrested and a rock with 5 outboard motors seized. Those arrested were placed under the order of the Public Prosecutor's Office (MP).
