FANB began deploying Operation Republic in Venezuela for Municipal Elections 2025

The Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), this Wednesday, July 23, began Operation Republic 2025, activated to guard the equipment, centers and materials that will be used for the Municipal Elections on July 27, together with the first National Popular Consultation of Youth.

In this regard, the strategic operational commander of the FANB, Domingo Hernández Lárez, shared audiovisuals of the regional deployments for the operation on his Telegram channel.

Officials were mobilized from the Integral Defense Operational Zone (ZODI), and the Strategic Integral Defense Regions (REDI), among some of these; REDI No. 5 Oriental; ZODI No. 51 Anzoátegui; ZODI No. 52 Monagas; No. 53 Sucre; REDI No. 1 Western; ZODI No. 11 Zulia; ZODI No. 12 Falcón; ZODI No. 13 Lara; REDI No. 8 Capital; ZODI No. 82 La Guaira; ZODI Miranda; REDI No. 6 Guayana; ZODI No. 63 Amazonas; ZODI No. 62 Bolivar; ZODI No. 61 Delta Amacuro; REDI No. 4 Central; ZODI No. 44 Aragua, among others.

In addition, more than 15,000 voting centers will be guarded by FANB officials to ensure the safety of citizens.

Previously, the Minister of Popular Power for Defense, Vladimir Padrino López, confirmed that the integrity, peace and harmony of the Venezuelan people is guaranteed by the FANB, in cooperation with the nation's citizen security agencies.

“In the end, next Sunday, July 27, we will once again be celebrating a new victory for the Fatherland, a new democratic victory, a new national victory, celebrating together with the People,” he said.

The commander of the Strategic Integral Defense Region (REDI) number 8 Capital, M/G Dilio Guillermo Rodríguez Díaz, reported that, according to the electoral schedule, 2,555 centers will be active in 23 municipalities, as well as 3,643 voting stations in the city of Caracas and in the states of La Guaira and Miranda.
