FANB deployed across the country to accompany the 2024 National Popular Consultation process

The Strategic Operational Commander of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (CEOFANB), GJ Domingo Hernández Lárez, announced that the members of the FANB support the Electoral Power by providing support, security and custody to technological and non-technological electoral personnel and material under the control of the National Electoral Council in connection with the National Popular Consultation 2024 this Sunday.

“In fulfillment of the mission entrusted to the FANB through Operation Republic, “National Popular Consultation 2024”, FANB materializes support for the CNE to guarantee citizen security and the protection of electoral material and guarantee peace throughout the national territory,” Hernández Lárez wrote in his account on the social network X.

In this process, 4,500 projects will be elected throughout the country, the projects that result with the highest votes will be financed by the National Government and directly executed by the organized communities themselves.

It is important to note that the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, emphasized that this National Popular Consultation is for the People to decide the communal projects that will be carried out in each space and to manage their own resources and decisions from the ground up.
