This Friday, from La Paragua, Bolivar State, the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) evicted another group of people who remained workers at the illegal “Bulla Loca” mine, which collapsed last Tuesday, where, according to the official report, 16 citizens lost their lives, while others were injured and taken to the entity's hospital.
“The FANB begins the evacuation of the illegal mine “La Bulla Loca” located in the state of Bolivar, where citizens engaged in illegal mining surreptitiously and violating the territorial legal system entered the La Paragua Forest Reserve in order to undermine soils with mining activities, this being an area protected by the State, where deforestation and illegal mining are totally prohibited by law,” said the Strategic Operational Commander of the FANB, G/J Domingo Hernández Lárez through his account on the social network X.
He reiterated that according to our CRBV it is a citizen's duty to protect the environment, so Venezuelans should not succumb to mercantilist interest in the face of the destruction of our nature and habitat.
As of today, 384 people who were still working in an illegal mine in La Paragua National Park in Bolívar state have been evacuated.
