FANB rescued three survivors of plane crash in Amazonas

The Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) managed to rescue three people alive from the plane crash that occurred in the morning hours of this Tuesday, July 29, in the jungle of the state of Amazonas.
The plane was carrying citizens belonging to the Yanomami indigenous community, who were on their way to the town of Parima-B, in the Alto Orinoco municipality, but a technical failure caused the aircraft to fall, reported Venezolana de Televisión.
According to the report made in the early hours, by the governor of the region, Miguel Rodríguez, there were at least 10 people on board, including the crew, indigenous people and medical personnel.
Once the FANB became aware of the accident, activated the search and they are still deployed on site.
The aircraft took off from Puerto Ayacucho bound for the town of Parima B in the Alto Orinoco municipality.
The local media outlet Radar de Amazonas, reported that it is a Caravan, registration number AMB4292, of the Air Transport Group No. 9 of the Bolivarian Air Force.
