Federal Government Council approved resources for the execution of works in Lara

The Interterritorial Compensation Fund (FCI), an instance of the Federal Government Council, approved 43 million bolivars for the execution of social and infrastructure works in the state of Lara, announced the governor of the entity, Adolfo Pereira.
Pereira, as reported by the Venezuelan News Agency (AVN), said that each infrastructure and social work project “is in line with the needs and supreme social happiness of the people of Larense.”
The director of the Lara State Planning and Budget Office, Jordanis Carballo, said that among the projects are the rehabilitation and improvements of the Casa de Abuelos La Esperanza in Barquisimeto, where the Regional Institute for Older Adults will also operate.
Also the rehabilitation of the museum of Los Zaragozas, in the Andrés Eloy Blanco municipality (Sanare); the design of the mechanical and electrical elements of the linear accelerator of the oncology service of the Antonio María Pineda Central University Hospital, as well as the adaptation of medical gases in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the Pastor Oropeza Hospital.
In the same way, the resources will be used to obtain ICU-type materials and equipment for an ambulance; purchase of materials, technical and social assistance, and other requirements from the government's Office of Citizen Services.
